Intentions Week 7
Intentions Week 7
I have been able to work intensely with samples this week and i am pleased in the direction im heading in. Listening to my previous tutorial i have created more samples on the machine and identified the obstacles that have been slowing down my work. I have definitely been way more proficient than previous weeks which is frustrating as it is not long till the deadline now but this project has been very helpful with identifying that issue.
This week i attended a visualisation workshop to show how i can apply my samples to objects to help provide context. This was helpful and i will submit work relevant to this for both projects.
My tutorial has helped point me in the right direction to planning for the upcoming days before the deadline. I talked about what i had done so far and my issues with time management so after it had finished i looked back over the learning outcomes and planned an intense to do list so i can work efficiently.
Unfortunately i was not able to attend the second ethos machine workshop so could not stitch my design out and learn how to thread up and work the machine. This was disappointing as i really want to use the ethos machine, i think it would benefit the style of my work a lot. I don't think i will have time to get the sample in the software stitched out before the deadline, however i will make sure i can be inducted on the machine for the next unit.
