Intentions Week 8
With the deadline looming next week i made a final week plan to use my time as effectively as i could throughout the week. I wanted to make sure i was happy with what i had achieved in sampling so spent most of the week refining designs and creating new ones. In my opinion this week of the project i had created my best designs of the project which is a tad frustrating as i would of liked the momentum throughout the project. However i am proud of what i have created this unit and i have learnt so much about the way to work and time management to get the most out of a project.
In my tutorial i showed the work i had produce throughout this week responding to the royal armories and i was advised to add a little bit more colour in my work to make it pop, which i planning to do using embellishment. I have tried my best to use a variety of skills and create work of a professional standard and i hope that this has been acknowledged. A lot of the samples i have produce this week has been machine embroidered and have included applique, i am hoping to get inducted on the quilting machine next unit as i think this could really bring some of my designs to life.
The end of the week has consisted of completing different tasks to try and get me the best grade i can. I have gave my all in this project especially towards the end and hopefully the skills i have learnt will carry on into future projects.
